Grandma's Sloppy Joes {Foodie Friday)

They say that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich will take you back to your childhood. But for me it's these sloppy joes.
My husband grew up on Manwich. I grew up on this. Sadly once we got married we were eating Manwich because that's what the hubby liked. I longed for some of these. I finally remembered to get a copy of the actual recipe from my mom. If you ask her how to make it, she will say 'add some ketchup, add some mustard. I don't measure it." Thanks. thanks a lot. So I managed to get my hands on the recipe. Hand written in my grandmother's handwriting even. A keepsake for sure.

So if you are looking for a quick weeknight meal with some things you probably already have on hand, make this. you won't regret it. And you might make some new memories with your family too.
