Here's a quick and easy Christmas treat that everyone is bound to love, chocolate and pretzels with a nut on top. So easy, so delicious. I love that these are quick and easy to make!
One Year Ago: Raspberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Two Years Ago: Chewy, Fudgy, Triple Chocolate Brownies
Turtles
Ingredients
Equal amounts of pretzels, Rolos and pecan halves.
Directions
1. To roast the pecans, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lay out the pecans on a rimmed baking sheet. I was able to get about half a pound on each baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 6 to 7 minutes.
2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the pretzels out on a baking sheet. It doesn't matter if you use mini twist pretzels, the squares or the circles. Obviously you would want to stay away from the stick kind ;). Top each pretzel with a Rolo.
3. Put them in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes until the Rolos are soft but haven't started melting everywhere.
4. Remove from the oven and immediately top with a pecan half. Let cool until set.
