Well hello! Welcome to 4th of July weekend! I'm about to head on our annual vacation, but wanted to slip this gem in before we left!
It's an old recipe I pulled out of the archives. When I started my cooking escapades a lot of what I made for dinner, DH was kind of blah about, but DH loved this one. He was looking for more and couldn’t stop telling me how wonderful it was. It’s so simple and basic. Sometimes you have to stick with the classics.
One Year Ago: Lemon Thyme Chicken
Italian Crusted Tilapia
Ingredients
4- 4oz tilapia fish fillets raw
1 egg
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs crushed
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tables spoon- Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon- garlic salt
Directions
1. Preheat Oven to 375 f.
2. Spray medium baking dish with lid with cooking spray.
3. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt in medium bowl.
4. Whisk egg in small bowl until well blended. Dip raw fish in egg thoroughly. Quickly dab egged fish in crumb mixture until fully covered.
5. Place breaded fish in medium baking dish with lid. Repeat process to remaining fish. Cover with lid and cook for 15-18 minutes.
